October 6-7, 2023: The Glass Madison Educational Gathering was co-hosted by the UW-Madison School of Education’s Art Department and the Office of Professional Learning and Community Education (PLACE); a partnership made possible by the generosity of the School of Education Dean’s Office.

About: The 2023 Glass Madison Educational Gathering was a symposium of intercollegiate and community glass programs. This convening drew together the creative communities that grew from the founding of the UW Glass Lab at the close of its sixtieth anniversary. Students, educators, and glass professionals alike were invited to join us for two days of celebrating contemporary glass practice.
